The webinar brings together innovative projects advancing the state of art in Linked Data. The projects were funded by various funding programs of the Next Generation Internet (NGI) initiative (NGI Zero, NGI DAPSI and NGI Pointer). The webinar was recorded June 21, 2021. For more information and links to the presentations and slides see: https://nlnet.nl/events/20210621/LinkedData/index.html About Linked Data: Linked Data is a broad field of research and development that aims to make digital information more structured, interlinked and meaningful (or "semantic") — to computers but also to humans. This can for instance enable more personal and insightful search engine results, insights into complex data sets but also new avenues for online social networking (for example, the decentralized social networking protocol ActivityPub powering federated communities uses Linked Data. NGI projects are working on the technical and infrastructural hurdles to overcome before everyone can benefit from these richer online experiences.
